"Police come round and try and enforce their law... or whatever it is".
Eyewitness.
Fair point. "Whatever it is" nowhere to be seen at the White Cliffs of Dover.

The OB running away all the time is not going to restore law and order. Expect to see more of this. Much more.

simon agreed, also in Minneapolis, all this talk of defunding OB has got the black residents anxious that they won't be protected, stupid cunts, should have thought of that before then

Manuel.... nice one mate will have a look at that later... love a bit of nostalgia ...
Some of those 80's riots were mental... remember being a few casualties at Handsworth (people being burnt to death) and of course PC Blakelock being carved up at the 'farm... MATE of mine went to school with Silcott the fella who machetted him to death... app' he was a decent bloke at school !!

I don't watch the news on the basis that if you think you're getting the news from the news, then you're not getting the news. Can anybody who does watch the 'news' tell me whether this has been covered?

Sold - Thought you'd appreciate it.
I recall the riots as I had an uncle that lived in Brixton at the time and use to get dragged over there as a kid by my folks, as you did.
Haven't been Brixton since that time, wouldn't mind having a butchers down there to see what it's like there now. If a Bowie fan they have murals of him on the walls opposite the station.

People quickly forget that if the Brixton riots hadn’t happened then we would never of heard Eddy Grants “Electric Avenue”
